JobFitCV is available at jobfitcv.eu and is built for honest CV tailoring.

CVs contain personal data

Your CV can include contact details, work history, education, languages, certificates, and other personal information. Remove highly sensitive details that are not needed for job applications.

No database storage by default in v1

JobFitCV v1 does not store CVs in a database by default. This MVP does not include user accounts or a CV database. Uploaded files are parsed for text during the request and are not saved by the app.

AI provider processing

When Anthropic or OpenAI API keys are configured, the CV text and job ad you provide are sent to the configured AI provider for generation. If no API key is configured, the app can run in mock mode for a local demo-quality result.

Local draft autosave

The tailor page saves your draft CV text, job ad, language, country convention, and tone in your browser localStorage so refresh does not erase your work. This is not stored server-side.

Basic usage analytics

JobFitCV uses basic analytics to understand visits, clicks, checkout starts, exports, and errors, such as whether core actions like starting tailoring, completing payment flow steps, or exporting a file are used. CV text, job ad text, uploaded file names, API keys, and generated CV content are not sent to analytics.

Local draft autosave stays in your browser localStorage and is not sent as an analytics event.

Payments

Payment is handled by Stripe. JobFitCV does not send CV text, job ad text, generated CV content, or local draft content to Stripe. Stripe receives only the payment details needed to process the checkout and safe product metadata for the selected plan.

JobFitCV does not use password accounts for the monthly plan. Monthly access uses the email used at Stripe Checkout. JobFitCV uses Stripe customer and subscription IDs, signed browser cookies, and Stripe subscription metadata to verify monthly access and track remaining tailorings. CV text and job ad text are not stored in a database by default.

Sensitive details

Do not paste national ID numbers, bank details, health information, private family information, or other highly sensitive data unless it is genuinely needed for the job application.
